Quickie kitchen window makeover

I've been wanting to put some plants up in our kitchen window sill for a while, but the sill itself is pretty narrow. Finally last weekend, Ron and I decided to get this little project done! We got a piece of wood cut to size at Home Depot for about $10 and some brackets for $3. I painted the board white and coated with sealant. Toolman-Ronny secured it into place. A curtain set ($8 for all three panels) and tension rod at Walmart finalized the project! Check out the before/after photos below.
